Hey there!
We at Addicted Quilter welcome you to our web site. I would like to introduce each of us and tell you a little bit about our shop.
This shop has been a dream of mine since I was a teenager. I would go to my grandparents and while there could go to my aunt's gift shop. I would help arrange items and put up new inventory. My cousin and I would fix displays in the store front windows. I really enjoyed that and wanted a shop of my own. I began to prepare to retire from the shipyard and decided it was time to see about bringing my dream to fruition. And here we are. We have now moved into a larger square footage shop and have room to grow even more.
My daughter, June, joined me in the shop about a year after Addicted Quilter opened. She is in the shop during the day while I finish my shipyard career. She is such an asset. She loves being around people and helping them answer questions, pick out fabrics, and patterns.
Ann is a good friend and great idea person. She has helped with a great many marketing ideas. She loves to sew and pick out fabrics to put in quilts. She is not a traditional quilter. She loves to change patterns and come up with new alternatives.
We have added a Statler Stitcher Long Arm Quilting machine and can now quilt quilts in about a five day turn around. We have thousands of patterns and can download others. The three of us are very accomplished operators. I am a local representative for the Gammill Machine. June has such great ideas and expertise about patterns that fit your quilt. Bring your top and let your imagination go!
We now are an Authorized Dealer for Elna Sewing Machines. We have the complete line of sewing machines and sergers for you to examine. Having problems with pressing blocks without stretching your material? We have two pressing machines that can help solve that common problem. Come by the shop and try them out to find out which machines fit your needs best. While your in, check out our layaway plan that aids in achieving your goal of having your dream sewing room.
We have various volunteers that help us out each week. We pride ourselves on our customer service and enjoy helping each and every person that comes in the shop. If you are looking for something specific and don’t find it let us know and we will try our best to order it for you.
We always have a pot of coffee brewing and we enjoy everyone stopping by for a cup and a visit. See ya soon!
